An online portal full of healthy living resources to help families learn about diet, nutrition, exercise and more.
We’ve spent 15 years helping thousands of families to live healthier, happier lives. And now we’ve poured everything we’ve learned into a huge range of exciting courses for BeeZee Academy, an online platform where you can learn at your own pace and in your own home.
There are no calls or appointments to keep. You can log on and learn in your own time – perfect for a busy parent without much time!
Once you’ve signed up, we’ll create an account for you on BeeZee Academy and send you your login details.
There you’ll see a few quick questions to find out what you’re most interested in learning, or where you need the most help. It could be dealing with fussy eaters, exercising more as a family, getting more sleep, or all sorts of other things.
We’ll show you some recommended courses based on your answers, but you can do whichever courses you like, in whatever order you like, as fast or as slow as you like.
And if you find you need any more support, our wellbeing coaches would love to have a free one-to-one chat to talk everything over.
BeeZee Academy is designed for families with children aged 5-15
To be eligible to join, at least one of your children should have a BMI above the 91st centile, and you need to live in Birmingham, Gloucestershire, or London (Brent, Enfield, Waltham Forest and Hounslow only).
It’s completely free, just like our other programmes!
Normally you get what you pay for, but in this case Public Health England have paid for everything, so you get a premium programme for nothing.
Nope, you can take as long as you want or need. The courses aren’t going anywhere, and everyone’s life is different.
If you can only grab 10 minutes, that’s absolutely fine! Do that 6 times and it’s exactly the same as someone else who had an hour to spare.
It’s mostly for the parents, with lots of info, tips and tricks to help you make healthy decisions for your whole family.
There are bits designed for the kids to join in and get them involved, but the main focus is on helping you as the parent.
Our top priority is your child’s physical and mental health. We don’t focus on weight, we NEVER use the ‘f’ word, and we promote positive body image in all the children we work with.
We don’t put children on damaging diets or force them to exercise. Instead we guide them towards finding healthy foods they like, educate them on how to eat a balanced diet (which includes yummy treats in the right amounts!), and encourage them to find joy in movement.
It can be really difficult to raise the issue of being overweight with your child. However, by addressing it now, you will help them to adopt healthy skills for life and grow into healthy, happy adults!
