How long are your Programmes

All though these can vary throughout the year most programmes run weekly for 10-12 weeks.

How long are the sessions?

Each session lasts for around 2 hrs

What happens at the sessions?

Sessions are split into a knowledge sharing section on Nutrition and how to behaviour change to tackle those pesky bad habit that are preventing you from. The second section if designed to get you moving and introduce you to suitable exercises you can safely try at home.

What should I wear?

We recommend loose comfortable clothing that is easy to move around in.

How much does it cost to sign up to a programme?

Our programmes are 100% free.  BeeZee Bodies is funded by Public Health England in your Area to deliver our services to you.

Can anyone join?

All our adult groups require anyone joining to have a Body Mass Index (BMI) greater than 30. In some cases people with a lower BMI are eligible if they have other issues affecting their weight – please contact us to enquire

What is my BMI?

The body mass index (BMI) is a measure that uses your height and weight to work out if your weight is healthy.

For most adults, an ideal BMI is in the 18.5 to 24.9 range.

For children and young people aged 2 to 18, the BMI calculation takes into account age and gender as well as height and weight.

If your BMI is:

  • below 18.5 – you’re in the underweight range
  • between 18.5 and 24.9 – you’re in the healthy weight range
  • between 25 and 29.9 – you’re in the overweight range
  • between 30 and 39.9 – you’re in the obese range
