Out and about in Hertfordshire!

What has the Herts BeeZee Bodies team been up to over the summer holidays?

Just because our families graduated in July, it doesn’t mean that we’ve been sitting back and relaxing!

As well as preparing for our new BeeZee Families programmes due to start in September, the team has been travelling all over the county. So, what exactly have we been up to you ask?

Well I can tell you we’ve been spending some time with Fit and Fed Broxbourne programme run by the Borough of Broxbourne. We’ve been going along on Tuesdays to talk, play games, and even do some blind taste testing with children and staff! We’ve had a great time attending these sessions and hope all our games about snacks, drinks, and breakfast have been helpful. We also might have squeezed in a couple games of rounders ourselves!

We’ve also been attending the Barnardos Family Centre’s events in Stevenage. These are held at the Ridlins Athletic Track on Wednesdays and we’ve been really lucky with the weather (for the most part!) We’ve met lots of local families and they’ve had a chance to check out our famous smoothie bike, play some archery, and pick up some healthy recipes.

If you’re looking to catch up with the BeeZee Bodies Team, we’ll be at the Sport In The Park event at Hampson Park in Stevenage on Wednesday, so please stop by and say hi!

And finally, if you’re in the Hemel Hempstead area, we’re going to be at the Family Intervention Worker Fun Day on Thursday. We hope to see some of you out there, enjoying the final week of the summer holidays!
