BeeZee boys get bare-faced to begin Movember!

Men’s Health is something we’re passionate about here at BeeZee Bodies! From the Boys and Dads on our BeeZee Families programmes (like Chris & Ross here) to the dudes on our Gutless programme – we support all kinds of blokes overcome the various obstacles that stand in the way of their health. But it’s not just about weight management – we see lots of men who are suffering from poor mental and physical health conditions too.

So it’s a no-brainer for us to get behind Movember, a worldwide campaign tackling Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer, Mental Health and Suicide Prevention.

Over to Dan, our BeeZee Gutbusters team captain – to tell you a bit more about how we’ll be raising funds and awareness for men’s health over the month of Movember.

This has involved those who have been bearded to rid themselves of their beautiful face carpets and have a clean shave in preparation of a month where they will compete to grow the mightiest of moustaches.

Some of the men and women involved in the company have also pledged to walk 60km over the month of November.

We haven’t decided to do this because we are bored at work and trying to entertain ourselves but because we want to raise awareness and hopefully some donations for the organisation, Movember which aims to tackle prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.

As these are often topics which we face within our BeeZee groups we realise how these issues can affect so many people and we aim to do what we can to combat them.
