What I wanted to be when I grew up: I wanted to be a PE teacher or a Fireman

What I studied: I studied Sports Science followed by an MSc in Physical Activity, Health and Wellbeing and I enjoyed both!

What I do at BeeZee Bodies: I am in charge of the strategic direction of the company and supporting people who work here to reach their full potential

What I like about working here: I love getting to work with such fun and dedicated people and thinking of creative new ways to help people, both the public and my colleagues

If I could take one of my colleagues to do something I love, it would be: Hmmm, good question…. I would take the whole team to do a big challenge like Everest Base Camp as seeing people achieve big things is what I love to do!

What I wanted to be when I grew up: Vet

What I studied: BA Sport and Physical Education

What I do at BeeZee Bodies: Ensure all our processes and procedures are in place so that families, individuals and staff are safe and happy. Day to day running of the offices and sites and working out how to put the teams awesome ideas into practice.

What I like about working here: Working at BZ is definitely challenging but I like to support people to do things they didn’t think they could and support them to find things they love to do.

If I could take one of my colleagues to do something I love, it would be: I would love to take the whole team to a music concert (probs coldplay….or rudimental)

What I wanted to be when I grew up: A P.E teacher.

What I studied: I studied Nutrition at the University of Surrey and then 10 years later completed a Masters in teaching and learning.

 What I do at BeeZee Bodies: Take the lead on ensuring the quality of the nutritional content of the programme, mentor staff and take part in evaluating the programme especially from a qualitative perspectve i.e. what people really thought.

What I like about working here: Everybody here is so very friendly and make you feel welcome and valued , and the team have a wealth of different skills coming from a wide variety of backgrounds.

If I could take one of my colleagues to do something I love, it would be: I’d love to take the whole team for a VIP experience to watch the Monacco F1 grand prix live.

What I wanted to be when I grew up: A primary school teacher

What I studied: I studied BSc Nutrition and Health Science in Cork Institute of Technology and a MSc in Human Nutrition in Ulster University in Coleraine ( I love Northern Ireland!)

What I do at BeeZee Bodies:  I oversee the day to day running of the Hertfordshire Contract, along with delivering the nutrition sessions!

What I like about working here: I really enjoy meeting new families (however, it is always hard to say goodbye once the 17 weeks is over!) and the fact that everyday is different!

If I could take one of my colleagues to do something I love, it would be: I would take all of the team back to Ireland and show them the wonderful sights of the Wild Atlantic way!

What I wanted to be when I grew up:  A professional tennis player… sadly it never materialised!

What I studied: I studied Biomedical Science at undergraduate level followed by a Masters in Applied Human Nutrition.

What I do at BeeZee Bodies:  As a Nutritionist at BeeZee Bodies, I help deliver nutrition sessions across the Hertfordshire area.

What I like about working here: I’m really looking forward to getting to know all the families on the programme and hopefully helping them to make some positive changes. As a lover of sports, I also can’t wait to get stuck in with the physical activity element of the programme!

If I could take one of my colleagues to do something I love, it would be: I’d get Ciara back out on the Gaelic Football field. From what I’ve been hearing, she’s had the boots hung up for too long 🙂

What did I wanted to be when I grew up: A chef

What I studied: I studied Nutrition at Bournemouth University (so most of my summers were spent relaxing on the beach 🙂 ) and now I have just completed my Dietetics degree at University of Hertfordshire.

What I do at BeeZee Bodies:  I run the BZ Bumps programme in Luton!

What I like about working here: I love working with all the families on our programmes and seeing the changes they make to their lives, it is a extremely rewarding job. Also, I get to work with an amazing bunch of people as well as use my enthusiasm and passion for everything nutritioney.

If I could take one of my colleagues to do something I love, it would be: As I love a good challenge, I would take Tara on my first triathlon to keep me motivated as she is now an experienced triathlete.

What I wanted to be when I grew up: When I was 10 I was convinced I was going to be an Olympic Swimmer and was obsessed with Ian thorpe!

What I studied: Human Nutrition and then I did my masters in Sports and Exercise Nutrition.

What I do at BeeZee Bodies: I deliver the nutrition sessions at BeeZee Bodies and work really hard at keeping all the BeeZee Bodies families motivated to make lots of healthy changes.

What I like about working here: Being able to work with the families every day is briliant! Plus working with BeeZee Bodies team is the most fun! While we work hard in the office there is always something funny happening, having a fun office makes all the difference.

If I could take one of my colleagues to do something I love, it would be: I would take Ciara to Glastonbury – neither of us have been and we both really like music so it would be the best weekend ever!! If we ever made it home again we would probabaly need another week off work to wash the mud out of our hair and sleep.

What you wanted to be when you grew up: When I was younger I wanted to be a Blue Peter presenter because it always looked like they had so much fun! I am also the proud owner of a Blue Peter badge.

What I do at BeeZee Bodies: I am a nutritionist at BeeZee Bodies and work with families across Hertfordshire to help them lead healthier lifestyles.

What I wanted to be when I grew up: A farmers wife

What I do at BeeZee Bodies: I am a programme coordinator for BeeZee Families. Which involves planning and organising the programmes, chatting with families and helping people set and gain their goals.

What I like about working here: I love working in a our fun and vibrant office. One of my favourite things about my job is meeting new people. I love getting to know new people and being apart of our programmes together.

What I wanted to be when I grew up: I always wanted to be a basketball player when I was younger. I use to practice for hours and hours after school.

What I studied: I studied BA (Hons) in Film/Video Technology/Technician while I was at the University of North Wales and yes before you ask there is loads, l mean loads of sheep in Wales.

What I do at BeeZee Bodies: Here I create and design artwork for the company which entails helping stylise new programmes within BeeZee Bodies to producing content for the people we work with.

What I like about working here: I love the work environment and the team, everyones is so friendly and easy to get along with. There’s always a great vibe around the place. Oh and I can’t forget Patsy, what a bundle of fun.

If I could take one of my colleagues to do something I love it would be: I would have to take the whole team to an England rugby match to show them how good we are!

What I wanted to be when I grew up: Really Really Tall…………

What I studied: How to create and play really fun games! (Studied Sports and leisure  along side sports management & Coaching!)

What I do at BeeZee Bodies: I am a coordinator  for the BeeZee Families programmes where I  specialise in the over seeing of games and sports on programmes to ensure they are supper fun and active. 

What I like about working here: The thought of being able to help with making real positive change in people lives is the most rewarding and enjoyable part of working at BeeZee Bodies! Plus we play so many games and have so many laughs!

If I could take one of my colleagues to do something I love, it would be: I would take Helen to an Arsenal match so she can witness the best team in London play football 😉

What I wanted to be when I grew up: A Marine Biologist (I became obsessed after seeing the Orca’s at SeaWorld!).

What I studied: BSc in Food and Nutrition, currently studying MSc in Sports and Exercise Nutrition through distance learning at Ulster University.

What I do at BeeZee Bodies: I’m a nutritionist at BeeZee supporting the BZ Families program in Hertfordshire. I also support Ruth in ensuring the quality of nutritional content in our programmes, keeping up to date with current research and evaluating the effectiveness of programmes in Bedfordshire.

What I like about working here: Keeping it real, the team here at BeeZee are passionate about having a positive impact and taking an evidence based practice approach to nutrition and programme delivery. I also like the relaxed atmosphere where we’re encouraged to be ourselves and accept each other for our differences.

If I could take one of my colleagues to do something I love it would be: I would take the whole team to Chiang Mai in Thailand, there’s this gorgeous little coffee shop on the top of a mountain… you just need a bicycle to get there!

What I wanted to be when I grew up: I wanted to be an animator! I loved (and still love) drawing and thought of being able to make characters that move would be super cool.

What I studied: I studied Biology at undergrad then spent a couple of years working in Marketing. I soon realised my true passion was Nutrition and so went on to a Masters in Human Nutrition at the University of Surrey.

What I do at BeeZee Bodies: I’m a Nutritionist! I help share info about healthy living in the BeeZee Families programme.

What I like about working here: The people. Everyone is so kind and helpful. We have lots of fun but also work really hard at something that means a lot to all of us

If I could take one of my colleagues to do something I love it would be: Everyone to a day trip to Bristol! I loved the city during my undergrad and want to take the whole gang to see it, including the amazing music there.

What I studied: I did my BSc in Nutrition and Food Science at the University of Alberta (in Canada, wooo!). And I my MSc in Public Health Nutrition at the University of Southampton.

What I do at BeeZee Bodies: I’m a nutritionist on the BeeZee Families programme in Hertfordshire!

What I like about working here: Every day really is an adventure! I don’t always know how the day will go, but I can always count on it being lots of fun! The people I’m lucky enough to interact with every day are really amazing!

If I could take one of my colleagues to do something I love it would be: I’d take the whole team to Canada in the middle of the winter to go skiing and to show them what cold weather (-20 degrees!) actually feels like!

What I do at BeeZee Bodies: I’m a placement student working as a coordinator for BeeZee Families.

What I like about working here: This is a very unique company, it doesn’t feel like you’re working sometimes! I love how everyone works as a whole team, rather than individually.

What I wanted to be when I grew up: Pop Star – I’m a child of the 80s, with icons like Madonna and Kylie all around, it was an obvious career choice!

What I studied: I studied Economics at the University of Leicester before doing my Chartered Accountancy training.

What I do at BeeZee Bodies: Financial Controller – faffing with spreadsheets and nagging people for receipts.

What I like about working here: Hearing about how we make a real difference to peoples lives, as a new mum myself who needs to shift some baby weight, I’ve been able to learn a thing or two from our programme content for myself.

If I could take one of my colleagues to do something I love it would be: On a round the world adventure (in first class, of course!), I love to travel and see the world and there are so many places I haven’t been to……yet!

What I wanted to be when I grew up: A big dog

What I studied: I have a BSc in Early Puppy Studies and an MSc in Puppy Cuddles.

What I do at BeeZee Bodies: Primarily my role is involved in boosting morale so my daily routine consists of cuddles whenever they are needed and playing. I like playing a lot! I try hard to not be a distraction but sometimes I really want to play 🙂

What I like about working here: I like that everyone here is really lovely and friendly. They love to rub my belly and take me for walks so I think BeeZee Bodies is the best place ever!

If I could take one of my colleagues to do something I love it would be: I would take them to the park and show them where I like to run really fast, that’s my favourite.
